St. Patrick’s Day

London definitely comes to life on March 17, when celebration for St. Patrick’s Day, one of the most deeply rooted holidays in British traditions, are held throughout the city.
The main focus of the festival is the colourful parade attended by as many floats as the counties of Ireland: as every year, it starts from Hyde Park at noon heading to Trafalgar Square, where the fountains are turned green for the occasion. A stage is purposely set up to host an Irish dance festival, while market stalls selling typical handmade Irish products fill the square.
