Halldis expands in Italy and in Europe
Managers and businessmen, rentals starting from 4 days
Short or long term rentals (from 4 days up) on a turnkey basis for managers and tourists.
The formula is offered by Halldis, which, in spite of its name, is an Italian operator specialized in temporary rentals, now operating in Milan, Turin, Bologna, Florence, Venice and in Europe in Paris, Frankfurt and Brussels, with about 500 self catering apartments. Halldis, founded in 2002 by Pietro Martani, aims to become the biggest European operator in this sector, with the intention of developing new destinations both in Italy and abroad. In Europe the group will open soon in London and Amsterdam also, while in Italy, through partnerships with local operators, in 40 more cities: starting from the largest and most dynamic ones (Verona, Genoa, Naples, Brescia, Bergamo and Palermo), to the smaller but equally vital ones from an economical and touristic point of view (Perugia, Trento, Como, Parma, Catania, Rimini). To realize this goal, the company, with earnings of 5 million euros in 2006 and forecasting 6,5 millions for this year, is selecting local operators wanting to be involved in a start-up. The apartments, of different sizes (from studios to 4 bedrooms), belong to private owners but are managed by Halldis.
Rentals last from a minimum of 4 days to over a year, with commissions ranging between 20% and 40%. Halldis offers its partners a full property managing system, strong in the product and management know-how, in its technological platform and in the off and on-line marketing.
