The Milanesiana is an event dedicated to various kinds of art and culture, such as music, cinema, science and videogames, and it will propose a series of happenings in various locations in Milan, from June 26th to July 12th. The theme of 2011 edition will be “Lies and Truth”, with more than 35 events to be held in the Sala Buzzati of the Fondazione Corriere della Sera, the Teatro dal Verme, the Spazio Oberdan, the Teatro della Verdura and the Cartiere Vannucci. 140 International guests, among which 5 Nobel prizes, will be participating in presentations, debates and happy hours, this year in Turin as well, with an event at the Circolo dei Lettori and two exhibitons.
The Torentijd Festival is the event which every year honours the different cultures cohexisting in Amsterdam. From June 24th to June 26th a series of dance, music and theatre festivals will be held in the squares surrounding the Groenhoven Tower. The festival includes also a playground with various activities for children.
Fête de la Musique 2011
The Fête de la Musique is a music festival held in the most important cities in France. Paris event is to be found at the Musée d’Orsay, where concerts and musical performances will be held in the atrium of this gorgeous museum, once a railway station. The space for the orchestra, chosen among the most important ones in the world, is located under the glass dome of the museum, and it will perform concerts, operas and movie soundtracks, all open to the public for free while seats last. This year, the concert by the Orchestre National de France is directed by Kurt Masur.
