The monasteries, churches, villas and panoramic scenery of the towns on the coast and islands of the Lake attract the best musicians and orchestras from around the world for not to be missed dates and music concerts.

The 14th of July, the day that commemorates the storming of the Bastille and the beginning of the French Revolution, is one of the most important national holidays in France. Every year on this date Paris revives the historical event with costume parades, pageants and dances. An appointment not to be missed is the parade down the Champs-Elysées, where the President of the Republic is also present, and the spectacular fireworks at the Trocadero. Bastille Day is an event rooted in the culture and tradition of Paris, and has a symbolic valence still alive today: every year Paris pervades with a festive and spectacular atmosphere.

Milano Jazzin’ Festival

From July 12th to August 2nd, at the Civic Arena “Gianni Brera", the Milan Jazzin’ Festival will host many artists from the international scene, not only jazz but also blues and pop, for almost one month. This fourth edition of this not to be missed festival will feature the most famous names in the music scene, including Paolo Nutini, Mario Biondi, Elisa, Mark Knopfler, Crosby Stills and Nash, Zappa Plays Zappa, Norah Jones and Gary Moore. Since there will also be side events organized, jazz concerts with emerging artists will be open to all in the nearby Piazza del Cannone. The festival, sponsored by the Assessorato agli Eventi del Comune, and by Alfa Romeo Giulietta, projects the city of Milan in an atmosphere of musical excellence and international scope.
