Carnaval del Pueblo
The Carnaval del Pueblo is the celebration of Latin-American Carnival which every year is held in London at Brockwell Park. From July 31st to August 5th, London will be the stage of parades and of colourful people dancing Latin-American dances. The Carnival will begin with a show of the typical costumes, then on the agenda there are dances, and stands with typical latin cuisine.
National Ball and Independence Day
July 21st is a National holiday in Brussels, since Belgians celebrate their Independence Day. The celebration will start the evening before, with the National Ball taking place in Place Jeu de Balle at 19 pm. On the 21st July, on the other hand, various events, such as concerts, parades and exceptionally open museums, will be held in 5 different districts of the city. The different attractions will concentrate in the Park of Brussels, in the Place Poelaert, in the Place Royale, in the Place du Musée, in the Mont des Arts, in the rue de la Régence and in the Grand Sablon.
From July 21st to August 15th, the Fortezza da Basso in Florence will turn into “Florence Global Village”, a space with stands, events and cultural initiatives of all genres. Shows, gastronomy, music, meetings, cinema, craftsmanship, sport and education are just some of the fields part of the event, which is not dedicated only to entertainment, but also to culture and learning. During this period, in fact, many important themes will be covered: there will be a sort of bookshop with educational initiatives on topics such as recycling and eco-sustainability of the city.
