Christmas Market

Christmas Market

For 16 years now the famous Christmas Market in Trento has placed the city in the “not to be missed” itinerary guides for anyone looking to experience the Season Spirit. Meeting point between the Italian and German cultures due to its geographical position, Trento has been adopting traditions from both throughout the centuries. Emblematic is, indeed, the «Christkindlmarkt», which dates back to its Germanic origins in the 14th century with the so-called Market of Saint Nicholas, better known as Santa Klaus, once the only occasion during which to buy Christmas decorations. Today the Market is famous for spreading the true Christmas spirit and offering all sorts of unique and original gift ideas.

FilmFestival

FilmFestival

November is always a fun month to visit Turin: the city comes alive as its famous FilmFestival "takes centre stage", reminding us all that Turin is not just about industries and chocolate, but also about vision, beauty and art. This year's Festival will be inaugurated by none other than Oliver Stone, who has chosen this venue for the premier of his anticipated "W". For art lovers and historians, this November also marks one year since the gorgeous royal residence of the Venaria Reale has been reopened to the public after its restoration: not to be missed, and guaranteed to leave you breathless with admiration.
