This charming 40 sq.mt apartment, well finished, comprises a day area, furnished with two single sofa beds, a table for 4 people and a fully equipped open plan kitchen, complete with washing machine and microwave oven and leading out onto a spacious terrace with a table for 4 people.
Down a few steps is the sleeping area, which includes a bedroom with a four-poster double bed, a large closet, linen chests and a small couch placed at the foot of the bed, to enjoy a gorgeous glimpse of the lake.
The bathroom, next to the bedroom, is fitted with a stall shower.
Area
Salita Cernaia, close to the prestigious Grand Hotel Serbelloni, is located in the heart of Bellagio. From here in any direction the neighbourhood offers plenty of shops, typical restaurants and different facilities and services, providing a wide range of places to see and things to do on foot, such as villas with spectacular gardens, beaches and sport clubs.
Bellagio, located on the tip of the promontory which divides the lake into the Como branch and the Lecco branch, is one of the most famous and stately destinations in the area, surrounded by a breathtaking environment. The villas and gardens in Bellagio are the evidence that the area was an aristocratic vacations site in the 1800s. The memory of that golden age, during which Bellagio was one of the most exclusive places in Europe, is still intact and evidenced by the opulent architecture and in the colourful gardens with rare plants.
It is often said that the Bellagio lakefront is the most beautiful in the lake area: the road from the historical centre to Villa Melzi is a wonderful tree-lined road which is naturally perfumed by its strong vegetation, while behind one’s shoulders lies a town nestled in the mountain and surrounded by a reef of woods.
The lake offers numerous entertainment opportunities: sailing (on ferry boats or private yacht charters) to visit the picturesque locations on its shores and the villas with gardens, offering a panoramic view of the lake, such as Villa Serbelloni (with a park with over 18 km of alleys and roads), Villa Melzi, Villa Carlotta and Villa Balbianello; windsurfing; waterskiing; hydroplane flying (from Como); canoeing.
The mountains around the lake offer rock-climbing, skiing, paragliding, hand gliding and trekking.
