This cosy and welcoming 80 sq.mt apartment, fitted with independent heating and parquet flooring, opens up onto a foyer which leads to the living room, which includes a comfortable relax area with a double sofa bed and TV, and a dining area with a table for 6 people. The kitchen, next to the living room, is fully equipped and complete with a dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer.
Next to the living room, separated by a sliding glass door, is a first bedroom, with two single beds and a closet. The sleeping area also includes a spacious and bright master bedroom with a double bed, an antique armoire, a large mirror and a frescoed ceiling, and two bathrooms, one complete and fitted with a shower and the other a wc.
Area
The apartment is located close to Piazza S. Spirito, a square whose name derives from the famous homonym church, which from 1343 also gives its name to the neighbourhood. The Basilica was designed by Filippo Brunelleschi, who worked on it from 1433, when the construction began, until his death, in 1446. The bell tower, built in 1506, is a project of Baccio d’Agnolo.
The quarter is very lively area, well-known for the workshops offering the best of Florentine tradition among artisans, goldsmiths and restorers.
In particular, restorers are found mainly in the Via Maggio (contraction of the word "Maggiore" - “main” - as it is the broadest street of the Oltrarno). The apartments is also located in the vicinity of the neighbourhood called San Frediano.
Parking
The apartment is located in a ZTL area (area with limited traffic access), but it is possible to park in the Porta Romana pay parking, just 200 metres away from the property.
