This bright and spacious 80 sq.mt apartment, recently renovated and fitted with independent heating, air conditioning and parquet flooring, opens to greet its giests into a large foyer-dining room with a table for 4/6 people, from which one enters from one side to the living room, furnished with a double sofa bed, an armchair and a bookcase with TV, and from the other side to a modern, built-in and fully equipped separate eat-in kitchen, complete with microwave oven and dishwasher.
The sleeping area comprises two bedroom areas located in open mezzanines –one overlooking the dining area and the other overlooking the living room, and both furnished with twin beds which can be joined and used as a double bed. The two bathrooms are both fitted with a stall shower and whilst one is located on the main level by the day area one is en-suite with one bedroom, allowing for complete privacy among all the guests.
Area
The apartment is located at a few steps from the river Arno, in a shopping street which leads to Piazza Beccaria, at a few metres from the ring way and just outside the walls of the historical neighbourhood of Santa Croce.
The area is rich in shops and typical restaurants and, at a few steps, beyond the famous Piazza S. Croce with its majestic Basilica, is the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale (Central National Library) and the Museo della Scienza (Natural Science Museum) in Piazza de’ Giudici.
In the vicinity are also Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi.
Public transport
The area can be easily reached from S.N.M central railway station with the bus lines 6, 14, 32 and 33.
Parking
The apartment is located outside of the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), so it it possible to access the area by car even though there are pay parking areas.
Alternatively it is possible to park in the S. Ambrogio pay parking garage, the cheapest of the city, open 24/7.
