Description
This delightful 60sq.mt apartment has been furnished with taste and elegance and offers a welcoming and cosy atmosphere, as well as a pristine location.
A small entrance acts as a foyer from which a hallway leads to the different rooms of the apartment: to the left is the small but perfectly equipped separate kitchen, complete with all necessities including a dishwasher, microwave oven and coffee maker, whilst at the end is the spacious and sunny living room, elegantly furnished with a leather couch and armchairs around a coffee table, a wooden armoire hiding the flat screen cable TV with DVD player, a lovely decorative fireplace, and a dining corner with a large table for 4. Three large windows shed a marvellous light into the room, and allow for a relaxing view of green trees growing from a wide inner courtyard, while whitewashed buildings make a contracting frame for this picture.
A door from the living room leads finally into the double bedroom, as quiet and sunny as the rest of the house, with its characteristic large window overlooking the courtyard, and complete with a double bed (160cm) and large built-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with bathtub with overhead shower, toilet, basin, and washing machine with separate dryer. A separate toilet and wash basin is in the hallway by the entrance, in true French tradition.
Area
The apartment is located in the 4th arrondissement, close to the Hôtel de Ville (Paris City Hall), and a few steps from the famous Marais and from the Centre Pompidou.
Right at the corner of rue du Temple is the large department store BHV (Bazar de l’Hôtel de Ville), whilst right in front of BHV is the rue Rivoli, one of the most important streets in Paris, known for its hotels and high end boutiques.
Right outside the house one finds anything one could need, with plenty of grocery stores, bakeries, wine stores, restaurants and more, all in the neighbourhood.
