Description
This particular area, called the Village Saint-Paul, has a special atmosphere and is well known for all its antique shops, and is very close to the centre of Paris.
The apartment layout has been well developed, with a smart and efficient use of its space. Upon entering a corridor with convenient built-in closets leads to the living room, a bright room where the soft lilac washed walls and light wooden floor create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The room itself is divided in two parts, of which one is the sitting area, complete with a sofa bed (120x190) and two armchairs by the TV and radio, and the other the open plan kitchen and dining area, with a fully equipped kitchen with stark white cabinets and a dining table for 6. The large windows offer a refreshing view of the inner courtyard with trees and green.
The bedroom has two separate entrances through sliding doors, one from the corridor and the other from the living room, enabling one to open up all the rooms and create a loft type environment, as preferred. In addition to its comfortable double bed (190x160 to be separated into two singles upon request) it offers storage space and a TV set with integrated DVD player. Opposite from the bedroom in the corridor is the bathroom, with white tiled walls and a light blue tiled flooring and complete with a basin a tub with overhead shower, a bidet and a toilet.

The Village Saint Paul, the 4ème arrondissement, is one of the very unique places Paris has to offer.
The name comes from the original village that used to be just outside Paris many centuries ago. Nowadays the address is a well sought out place to be. The apartment itself is just between the Marais and the Ile Saint-Louis, hence it offers different atmospheres according to one's mood of the moment.
The area is very rich culturally speaking and close to many of the main sites of Paris. Notre-Dame or Place des Vosges are both less than ten minutes away.
Just around the corner on rue Saint-Antoine there is the local Marché, with all its delicatessens, grocery shops and a local supermarket. The area also offers plenty of choices in cafés and restaurants, with its small streets and alleys chock-full of different style places to eat.
