Area
The apartment is in the 16th arrondissement, in an elegant neighbourhood, close to the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero Center, by museums, stores, restaurants, and more.
Passy itself has only been a neighbourhood of Paris since 1860 as historically it originates as a separate borough. Well known to most Americans, while it was still an independent borough Passy is where the patriot Benjamin Franklin spent his French period, for 9 years, during the American Revolution.
Passy is where Franklin printed his flyers and propaganda material promoting his efforts for the French Revolution. Furthermore, a treaty called A project for perpetual peace was printed right there in 1782, presenting his vision for permanent peace in Europe: a central governing council, with representatives from all European nations, should have ruled over all international disputes.
Public transport
The apartment is easily reachable via the line 6 Metro, Passy station.
