The apartment is located in an exceptional area in the heart of the 1ère arrondissement, in the very centre of Paris, an area from where one can easily walk to places such as the Louvre Museum, the luxurious rue Rivoli shopping street, the Palais Royal, Tuileries gardens, the Seine (Bateau Mouche), Ile de la Cité and Châtelet-les-Halles (Pompidou-Beaubourg).
There are some great bistrots on Rue de Croiux des Petits Champs, notably Chez Louise, as well as a Basque tapas Bar and Emiles, on Rue Jean Jaques Rousseau. The best patissier in the arrondissement is on rue St Honoré, just 50 metres away for the perfect croissant and pain au chocolat. A pharmacy and a small minimarket are just as close, as is the metro stop which leads directly to the Marais and champs Elysees.
