Whilst the entrance to the apartment is in an inner courtyard, the front entrance to this lovely historical building is in a characteristic street of the olden Rome, offering plenty of restaurants, cafés and boutiques.
Within a few metres is the Vatican, and within a few minutes’ walking distance one reaches the Castel Sant’Angelo bridge, which leads straight to the historical centre of Rome, whilst around the corner is Via Cola di Rienzo, a major shopping street.
From Termini Railway Station:
Take the Subway line A direction Battistini, stop Ottaviano – San Pietro. You are in Via Ottaviano walking straight on to Piazza del Risorgimento, at 50 meters from the apartment.
From Fiumicino Airport:
Take the train to Termini Station.
By own transport: Highway Fiumicino-Roma, go out to Aurelia direction, after at least 5 kms turn right, direction Aurelio-Vaticano. Straight on at least 5 kms direction Vaticano, till Piazza Irnerio, (great square with Mc Donald on your left) and take the road in the middle of the square, called Via Baldo degli Ubaldi. Drive straight on at least 2 kms till Via Angelo Emo, and drive 2 kms more till Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie (a small square). Follow the road toward Via Candia, after 600 metres you will find a traffic light, turn right, Via Leone IV and after 500 mt. you will see the Vatican Museum. Go straight and you will arrive in Piazza Risorgimento, at 50 meters from the apartment.
