Description
This 25 sq.mt studio apartments, in which space and functionality have been combined in an excellent way, opens up directly onto the living area, including a fully equipped kitchen corner, a lunch counter for brunch and lunches, and a relax area with two leather armchairs dating back to the ‘70s where it is possible to enjoy the music of the stereo or a good book. Shelves and small closets complete the environment as well as some design pieces of furniture.
On the left of the entrance is located the staircase leading to the sleeping area on the upper floor. Even in this room the space has been furnished in order to exploit all the space: a lot of shelves to put away personal belongings and a small iron basin make of it a very naval style space. The double bed takes up the rest of the upper floor. The bathroom with shower is located in fron t of the entrance door on the lower floor. The apartment comes complete with a private patio in the inner courtyard, accessible through a French window in the kitchen and furnished with a table and two chairs.
Area
Located in the center of Turin, the apartment is in Via Vanchiglia. Strategically positioned, this road easily leads to both the hillsides of Turin and Piaza Vittorio, Via Po and the Valentino Park, for a full immersion in the greens of Turin, as well as to the so-called "murazzi", ex warehouses now transformed into a trendy nightlife area with its variety of cafès, bars and clubs to meet in, have cocktails, enjoy a fun night or simply spend the evening along the banks of the river Po. At a mere few steps from the apartment is the true symbol of Turin, the Mole Antonelliana, reigning over the entire city in full glory with its 167,5 meters in height, and inside of which is the notorious Museo del Cinema (a must-see for all visitors). Piazza Vittorio itself is connected to Piazza Castello, Piazza San Carlo and Piazza Carlo Felice and the Porta Nuova Railway Station by an entirely uninterrupted series of porticos. A 10 minute walk leads to via Accademia delle Scienze 6, home of the Turin Egyptian Museum, which hosts one of the largest and most important collections after the city of Cairo, founded by Carlo Felice in 1824. Right across the street, at number 5, is yet another significant museum: the Museo del Risorgimento Italiano, a Baroque masterpiece of architecture designed by Guarini, original residence of the noble Princes of Carignano and home to the first Parliament of a confederated Italy. Culture aside, but just as important, is what the area has to offer to pamper one`s taste buds, and a stroll from Via Po to Piazza Castello inevitably crosses Via Bogino, a cult place for chocolate lovers, where hot chocolates are delightfully sipped whilst seated in the red velvet chairs of the famous FIORIO.
Public transport
The most useful tram and bus lines are line 15 and 18, while in Via Po there is the stop of the lines 55, 56 and 13.
