Villa le Mura is a wonderful property located near Montaione, in a panoramic position overlooking the surrounding valley and hills.
The villa, built of brick and stone, has a beautiful garden on three sides, with a large courtyard, equipped with some lounge areas, barbecue and outdoor dining table (up to 8 people), ideal for pleasant alfresco meals.
At guests' disposal also a lovely pool (14 x 6 m, always open), surrounded by nature and provided with sunbeds, parasols and outdoor shower.

Villa le Mura is located at 2 km from Montaione, a charming medieval village in the province of Florence, full of art, history, culture and traditions.
Perched on a beautiful hill, it offers breathtaking views set among the woods, vineyards and olive groves. Known for glass processing and food and wine products of high quality (such as The White Truffle), Montaione has a strategic location that allows to reach quickly the main and the most beautiful cities in the Tuscan region like Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa.
There are also some ancient Tuscan villages, little pearls of the surrounding area, easily accessible by car such as: - San Miniato (just 13 km away), historic Napoleone Bonaparte's destination during his Italian Campaign, renowned for its white truffles; - Certaldo Alta, a medieval village where the Italian writer and poet Giovanni Boccaccio lived; - Vinci is the birthplace of Leonardo, the famous Italian painter, engineer and scientist; - San Gimignano is set on a hill and is characterized by its beautiful towers and for Vernaccia (famous Tuscan white wine, the first Italian wine to receive the mark of DOC, Controlled Designation of Origin, in 1966).
For sports lovers, there are several options: tennis courts (10 km), golf courses (a few km away) and a riding school (1 km). In the surrounding area there are also over 50 km of trails for mountain biking and hundreds of miles of scenic roads with little traffic on the road bike, ideal for sport lovers.

The villa (350 sqm), spread over 2 floors and elegantly furnished in antique style, can accommodate up to 8 people for a total of 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
Ground floor: The ground floor comprises two living rooms: one larger with sofas, antique furniture and direct access to the garden; the other, smaller, with sofas. The spacious dining room has a glass table for 8 people and fireplace.
Then you will find a kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, breakfast table. From here you can reach directly the courtyard. A bathroom with shower makes the rest of the floor.
First floor: The upper floor is dedicated to the sleeping area, consisting of 4 airy double bedrooms (including 1 with separable beds if necessary), all provided with ensuite bathroom (with shower), safe box and air conditioning. Furthermore, there are two living rooms (one with panoramic terrace) and a laundry room (with washing machine). Included free Wi-Fi, mosquito screens and satellite TV (no Sky).

Stunning property, centrally located for reaching the most important Tuscan cities (Florence, Pisa and Siena) and the charming medieval village (such as San Miniato, Certaldo, San Gimignano). Equipped with several amenities (private pool, satellite TV, safe box, air conditioning), it is the ideal accomodation for families or friends wishing to spend a relaxing holiday, immersed in the beauty of the Tuscan countryside.

This villa for rent is not a hotel, agritourism, B&B or similar, and therefore by law, extra services similar to those you may find in these types of accommodations, such as a reception, concierge or security, receiving mail, provision of meals and drinks, cleaning and change of linen during your stay, and amenity kits with soaps etc. are strictly prohibited. APE energy certification level: F 274.3 kWh/m2 per year.
