Adorable bright and sunny one bedroom apartment for rent in Rome located on the second floor of a historical building (without elevator) nestled right by St. Peter’s.
Whilst the entrance to the apartment is in an inner courtyard, the front entrance to this lovely historical building is in a characteristic street of the olden Rome, offering plenty of restaurants, cafés and boutiques.
Within a few metres is the Vatican, and within a few minutes’ walking distance one reaches the Castel Sant’Angelo bridge, which leads straight to the historical centre of Rome, whilst around the corner is Via Cola di Rienzo, a major shopping street.
Parking
Atac´s Park & Ride areas allow long-term parking at a discounted rate, to reach the City Centre using urban public transport. Every Park & Ride area (both automated or not) is close to a Metro station or to the urban and suburban bus terminus.
Blue stripes: The ordinary rate is € 1.00 per hour outside the ZTL and € 1.20 per hour in the ZTL. The discounted rate, on the other hand, is valid everywhere: € 0.20 for 15 minutes of parking (short stay, for payments made only from the parking meter); € 4.00 for 8 hours of continuous parking; € 70.00 for a calendar month.

- The property shall not be used by more than the number of adults and children listed in your reservation. Please do not invite people into the apartment that are not registered for your stay.
- All guests shall abide by a good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
- Pets are not permitted unless specifically noted in your reservation.
- Renter must be at least 18 years of age. Guests under the minimum age must be accompanied by a parent.
- No commercial photography or filming is permitted on the property.
- Renter is liable for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to the card on file should damage occur during occupancy. In case of any damage or issue, please contact us immediately so we can take care of it right away.
Breaking these rules may be penalized by €200.

If you are an EU citizen, you will be charged an additional €72 for the contract registration process. We will take care of obtaining a tax code for you.
If you are a non-EU citizen, you will be charged an additional €72 for the contract registration process. Obtaining a tax code may not always be possible. Check-in will only be permitted if we have received official documentation from your employer, proof of participation in a master's degree or course of study, or a self-certification for tourism purposes.

We had a lovely stay in the apartment. It is located in a great area near the Vatican and was very clean and well furnished, with all the facilities we needed. The street Borgo Pio has shops including a pharmacy, and also many restaurants and cafes. Communication after booking was straightforward. The only drawback I can say is the apartment is managed by a company and so we spoke to a handful of different people before and during our stay. However everyone was pleasant to deal with and responded quickly so it was not really an issue.
Overall we would definitely return here again!
