Reservation Policies

Payment conditions:

- Short-term stays (up to 30 nights): A down-payment of 30% is required directly with the reservation to confirm the booking. You will be asked to pay the balance, city tax (if applicable) and security deposit 7 days before arrival.

- Long-term stays (30 nights or more): A down-payment of 1 month's rent is required directly with the reservation to confirm the booking. Monthly balances are due 7 days before each new month start. You will be asked to pay the security deposit 7 days before arrival. In case of long-term stays the utilities are paid apart, the amount is communicated by our CX department together with the rental proposal.


Security deposit:

Security deposit is applicable only for our properties with the Deposit indicated in the booking. You will be requested to pay a security deposit 7 days before check-in which amount is found in Extra prices part of each unit.

The security deposit will be refunded to you up to 21 working days after check-out (based on your bank’s turnaround time) and after the conditions of the apartment are checked.


Cancellation policy:

In case the customer cancels their reservation, the following cancellation charges will be applied:

For stays of less than 30 days:
Cancellations made more than 7 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund. Guests must submit their cancellation request via email to sales@halldis.com.
If the reservation is not fully paid, Halldis reserves the right to cancel the booking 6 days prior to check-in and retain any funds paid up to that point as a penalty (excluding tourist tax and final cleaning fees).
Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in will result in 100% of the reservation total being withheld (excluding tourist tax and final cleaning fees).

For stays of 30 days or more:
Cancellations made more than 7 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund. Guests must submit their cancellation request via email to sales@halldis.com.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in will result in Halldis retaining the rental amount equivalent to the first 30 days of the stay (excluding tourist tax, utilities, and final cleaning fees).
For reservations that have already commenced, a 30-day notice period is required for early termination.

We apply a general cancellation policy for all our units EXCEPT some selected destinations - France and villas in Tuscany and Puglia.
